skote bio

Founded by artists Jill Pangallo and Alex P. White, SKOTE has performed, shown and screened in public spaces, nightclubs and galleries since 2006. Their videoperformance installation, Nightbird 2.0, for which they received a Foundation for Contemporary Arts grant, debuted at Regina Rex gallery (Brooklyn) last Spring. Most recently, they performed as part of the Movement Research at Judson Church series and were invited to be a part of the the traveling video archive at the Israeli Center for Digital Art. In 2010, SKOTE attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture residency.
